Pimple gone wrong!

Yes. Pimple gone terribly wrong!

The trip to dr lee ended with me being so relieved and happy. He said after taking the antibiotics, the swell will come down. In my mind I was happily thinking it will come down almost immediately. He said the med is very strong didn't he?

That whole afternoon I was waiting for things to happen. Nothing did. That night I could not sleep again. It was too painful. It felt like something is bursting out of my mouth. It's a terrible throbbing pain. Worse than the night before despite taking painkillers! I tried to sleep while praying hard it will be morning soon.

Only had one day of mc so I went back to work. It was a horrible day. I wore mask to cover my hideous face. I concluded that it's easier to explain I was sick or imply that I was sick than to explain why my lips grew so huge! I was right. With the mask I could just tell those pple who are not genuinely concerned that I'm unwell instead of having to explain why my mouth looks the way it is cos of some bad infection. As if it's not hurting already physically and emotionally. Sobz.

But it might have been a bad decision as well. Whole day the air ard the mouth is moist and stale. I felt sick and at the end of the day my mouth swell even worse and all the way to the cheek.

That night I went dr lee again since Xin was also gg. He gave me a stronger painkiller bad advised I go sgh if it gets worse. He wanted to give me another antibiotics and asked me to combine with the current one. I asked if its too strong. He hesitated and changed his mind. That made me concluded that my case is so bad he doesn't know what exactly to do to me. And to drain off the pus which is causing the pain, I need to go to the hospital.

And I did the following morning. More of to seek a second opinion. I could sleep the night through. The painkiller was really effective. I could hardly feel any pain. But once the med fades away I can feel the pain again. The same old intense pain.

Anyway, the doc at sgh was reassuring. She said its a case of bad infection and just so happen this one is on the mouth which is more visible and sensitive. She told me the pus cannot be drained out then cos it's not ripe. So she made an PLASTIC SURGERY appt for me on Monday to have it done if it still doesn't burst or recover by then. :)

Oh, one scary thing she said though, was that any place on the body with hair can get such infection! Omg! I really don't wish to get it again!

Today the swell has come down quite significantly. To quote, I dont look like I have a lip defect anymore. I look like I am just having a huge pimple. and that means I'm still young right?

All my life I hardly get any pimple and just kena one only so jialat. Omg can! What is this!! A pimple revenge or something?????

Only worked one day this week. I wonder if the boss will be unhappy. Sigh. And will have to miss work again on Monday. Tuesday is my appraisal. Got luck man...
